Living spaces, living furniture: HOMI 2019
From January 25th to 28th 2019, the winter edition of January 2019 of HOMI, the Salone degli Stili di Vita of Fiera Milano, took place. Like every time, at HOMI you could admire the most trendy products in the world of home furnishings. Thus, because the home is increasingly at the center of daily activities: relaxation and family, but also study, work, creativity, everything takes place between the walls of the home, increasingly inhabited not only by people but also by ideas, styles, tastes, ways to live. For every type of requirement, HOMI has offered not only products but different ideas, projects, styles and cultures, in an always new and different meeting that can help operators to identify trends that will characterize the next season.
To recount these changes, HOMI has animated itself with a very wide and transversal product offer: accessories and decorations for furniture, tableware, textiles and home textiles, essences and fragrances for rooms, but also promotional items, gift, formal and office. This wide range of products at HOMI has been represented by established companies in the market, but also by many new start-ups and young designers, protagonists of spaces dedicated to experimentation and research.
Designed as a place where you can have a glimpse of future scenarios, the HOMI HYBRID LOUNGE space was created in collaboration with POLI.Design, a reality of the Milan Polytechnic and WGSN, the international institute for the research of new consumption trends. Thanks to the joint research activities, HYBRID LOUNGE has been able to offer a concrete proposal of objects, innovative materials and finishes dedicated to the world of interior design, all designed according to a perspective of future living trends.
HOMI has always been an unmissable appointment for the many visitors, and it is also a unique business opportunity for the 1,150 exhibitors, 27% of whom come from 38 countries, who have presented a preview of the most interesting proposals on the ways of living and accessories. Not just products but different ideas, projects, styles and cultures, in an ever-new encounter that has helped, and that helps industry professionals to identify the trends that will characterize the next season through a wide exhibition offer.
